MealMoment (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a restaurant deals and food-ordering platform available at https://mealmoment.app and as a mobile application (the “Service”). 1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account or sign in, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and an authentication password (stored securely as a hash). You may also add a profile photo and saved delivery addresses.

Order & Transaction Information

When you place an order we record the restaurant, items ordered, quantities, special instructions, spice-level selections, delivery or pickup details, order total, taxes, delivery fees, tips, and the order status history. We also retain records of disputes, reviews, and customer support correspondence.

Approximate Location Information

To show you restaurants and deals near you, MealMoment asks for your ZIP code. We do not collect precise GPS coordinates unless you choose to share them. ZIP code is used to filter available restaurants, confirm delivery availability, and estimate delivery distance.

Device & Technical Information

We automatically collect limited technical information such as device type, operating system and version, browser type, app version, language setting, and approximate IP address. This helps us operate, secure, and improve the Service.

Usage & Analytics Information

We collect aggregated, anonymized analytics about how you interact with MealMoment, such as pages visited, features used, and session duration, to understand and improve the Service.

2. Payment Processing (Stripe)

MealMoment processes payments through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. When you check out, payment details (such as card information) are submitted directly to Stripe and are notstored on MealMoment’s servers. We receive only a payment confirmation and a transaction reference from Stripe. Stripe’s handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy, available athttps://stripe.com/privacy.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account and authenticate you when you sign in.
  • To process and fulfill your orders, coordinate pickups and deliveries, and send you order updates.
  • To charge you for orders and handle refunds or disputes where applicable.
  • To display relevant restaurants, deals, and promotions based on your ZIP code and activity.
  • To communicate with you about your orders, account, and important Service announcements.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • To analyze and improve our Service, features, and performance.
  • To comply with legal obligations and tax requirements.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only as needed to operate the Service and as described here:

  • Restaurants: When you place an order, the relevant restaurant receives the order details, items, instructions, and delivery/pickup information needed to prepare and fulfill your order.
  • Delivery Drivers: For third-party deliveries, assigned drivers receive your delivery address, contact information, and order contents needed to complete delivery.
  • Stripe: Payment information is handled by Stripe as described above.
  • Service Providers: We use trusted vendors (such as email and hosting providers) that help us operate the Service under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MealMoment, our users, or others.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Cookies & Similar Technologies

MealMoment uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as ZIP code and cart contents), and collect analytics. You can control or disable cookies in your browser or device settings; some features may not function properly without them.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and payment data is never stored on our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account and order information for as long as your account is active and for additional time as needed for legal, accounting, tax, and record-keeping requirements. 8. Children’s Privacy

MealMoment is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
